Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meets tomorrow to sight Zil-Haj moon

KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Sunday evening (tomorrow) in Karachi to sight the Zil-Haj crescent.   The meeting of the moon sighting committee will be held at Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) office with its chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman in the chair. Pakistan Railways reduces fares by 25pc on Eidul Azha

KARACHI: Pakistan Railways on Sunday reduced rail fares by 25 percent on every train and class on the occasion of Eidul Azha, ARY News reported. According to a notification issued by the railway department, the reduction in fares would be for commuters travelling on the three days of Eidul Azha between Sept 2 to Sept 4.
