RAWALPINDI: An Islamabad High Court appellate tribunal on Friday rejected objections raised on nomination papers filed by disgruntled PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.  The tribunal dismissed an appeal challenging the returning officer’s verdict of accepting his nomination papers. Sattar approaches tribunal against rejection of nomination papers

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar on Friday approached an appellate tribunal challenging the rejection of his nomination papers for NA-245 Karachi by the respective returning officer.  Mr. Sattar filed an election petition before a Sindh High Court appellate tribunal, requesting it to overturn the returning officer’s verdict with regard to his papers.
