Faisalabad city formally known as Lyallpur is the third largest city of Pakistan located in the Punjab province covering 1300km2 land area. The city is famous for its textile production and is the largest textile producing city of the country. Previously it was also considered as one of the largest village of south Asia which is now transformed into a major city.
The city is situated 605 feet above the sea level the city is surrounded with multiple city including Chiniot, Nankana Sahib, Okara, Sahiwal, Jhug and Toba Teksingh during the last century the city is known as the hub of shepherds.
Faisalabad consist huge amount of textile industry and the city is named as the Manchester of Asia. During the last century the city was a massive jungle which was used by the murderers and arsonist as their shelter the Britisher decided to build a city, in 1892 Sir Charles James Lyall founded the city on his name Lyallpur.
