Opening of Kartarpur corridor widely appreciated in India, says FO spokesman

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal on Wednesday said the groundbreaking of Kartarpur corridor was a monumental event which would open many opportunities for both Pakistan and India. Ambassador in touch with Russian authorities on Fakhr-e-Alam’s detention: FO

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office Spokesman on Monday said Pakistan’s ambassador to Russia was in touch with local authorities over the matter of detention of singer Fakhr-e-Alam due to his expired visa. Spokesman Muhammad Faisal in a Tweet said the ambassador had also spoken to Fakhr-e-Alam and hoped that the problem would be resolved soon. India financing terrorist outfits in Afghanistan, says FO spokesman

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria on Saturday said India was financing terrorist organizations in Afghanistan to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan. “On one side India is financing terrorist organizations in Afghanistan to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan and on the other side it is targeting civilian population along Line of Control and Working Boundary,” he said.
