ISLAMABAD: Sessions Court on Saturday rejected the exemption plea of former President General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf in the murder case of Abdul Rasheed Ghazi, ARY News reports.

Former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharaf has been granted bail in Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case. Abdul Rahid Ghazi, a cleric of Lal Masjid in Islamabad, was killed in an operation by Pakistan Army on 10th July 2007 during the “Operation Silence”. In 2006 Maulana Abdul Aziz and Abdul Rashid Ghazi openly announced the overthrow of the President of that time Pervez musharaf and demanded Sharia Islamic religious law in the country.
