"We are eyeing to fulfil 25 percent of the energy needs of the country using water resources by 2025 and increasing it to 35 percent by 2030," Federal Power Minister Omar Ayub said.

PESHAWAR: FATA Development Authority has planned to construct three mini-hydel power stations in Kurram Agency. According to sources of FATA Development Authority, the power stations will be constructed in Shalozan, Sadda and Malana areas. The power stations will be constructed at coast of Rs.360 million and will generate 1050 Kilo Watts electricity when completed.
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif on Tuesday said that majority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) issues have been resolved and that the province is receiving major share of hydel power, ARY News reported.
