Tarbela 4th Extension: WAPDA conducts load rejection test of entire units

LAHORE: The Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has effectively carried out instantaneous load rejection test of entire three units of Tarbela 4th Extension Hydropower Project. LAHORE: Neelum-Jhelum second unit started hydroelectric power production  on Tuesday generating power to the utmost capability of 242.42 megawatts (MW), and conveying power to the national grid. Govt acquires 392 acres of land for Dasu hydropower project

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly was informed on Thursday that the government has acquired about 392 acres of land for Dasu Hydropower Project and Rs695 million have been paid to the land owners. Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali told the House during question hour that further land acquisition and payment to the owners will be made very soon.
