Rangers official killed, six injured in Karachi attack

KARACHI: One Rangers official was killed whereas six others were injured in a remote-controlled bomb attack at a vehicle of the paramilitary force in Landhi No.89 area of Karachi on Thursday. Superintendent of Police Landhi Faisal Nur stated that 10 Rangers officials were on a truck when the incident occurred. The attack took place when there duties were being changed. Wahdatul Muslimeen leader, guard die in Karachi attack

KARACHI: At least two persons including a local religious leader were killed in firing over a car at University Road, near University of Karachi, ARY News reported on Tuesday.  Unidentified gunmen opened fire at the car of Deedar Jalbani, a local leader of Majlis e Wahdatul Muslimeen, at University Road. Deedar Jalbani and his guard received bullet wounds and died in the incident, report said. Majlis e Wahdatul Muslimeen has announced three-day mourning over the incident of target killing.
