DUBAI: Dubai-based Emirates airlines said on Wednesday that the US has exempted it from a ban on laptops in airplane cabins. The Middle East's biggest long-haul carrier said in a statement that new security measures were in place and the ban had been lifted "effectively immediately." Saudi airline says US will lift laptop ban by July 19

RIYADH: The Saudi national airline said Tuesday it expects the United States to lift a ban on laptops and tablets in the cabins of its US-bound flights from the kingdom by July 19.
