Police recover 12 laptops, 20 USBs from house of key suspect in Khawaja Izhar attack case

KARACHI: Police have recovered 12 laptops and tablet computers and more than 20 USBs in a raid at the house of the main accused in assassination bid of Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, ARY News reported. The computers recovered from Karachi’s Gulzar-e-Hijri area are being decoded. Some micro USBs were hidden in sewed pieces of clothes, said sources. CM Punjab says 115,000 laptops distribution will be done by Ramazan

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif on Monday said 115,000 laptops distributions will be done by Ramazan 2017. He said this while distributing laptops among the high-achieving students of Government College for Women University. The CM Punjab also announced distribution of 1.5 million laptops for 2018. He said scholarships worth Rs11 billion have been given to the deserving students of underprivileged students under the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF).
