Liaquat Ali Khan being remembered on 65th death anniversary
ISLAMABAD: The 65th death anniversary of Pakistan's first prime minister Liaquat Ali Khan is being observed on Sunday (today), ARY News reported.
Liaquat Ali Khan was born 2nd October 1895 in Karnal district in Eastern Punjab in present-day India. He graduated from M.A.O. College and went on to complete his higher education from Oxford University's Exeter College.
He was a prominent figure in the Pakistan movement and played a key role in the struggle of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent.
