JI chief threatens long march if rights not provided to tribal areas
PESHAWAR: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq on Tuesday threatened to organise a long march to Islamabad if the federal government does not provide the due rights to the people of the tribal areas.
Addressing a protest gathering outside the Governor House, the JI chief said that the federal government has failed to give due rights to the people of the tribal areas. “We do not agree with the division of Pakhtun people. We are one and will continue to do so,” he said.
