‘I am thoroughly ashamed’ – UK minister resigns after arriving late to Parliament

LONDON: Lord Bates, member of the House of Lords made a shocking announcement to resign from his position because he was late to the chamber. Bates said he was "ashamed" to not be in his place to answer a question from Labour's Baroness Lister.
