WASHINGTON: Half of the adults in the United States are trying to lose weight, according to a study published Thursday, with more women than men seeking to shed a few pounds. The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, conducted from 2013 through 2016, found that 49.1 percent of Americans aged 20 and older had tried to lose weight in the last 12 months. NEW DELHI: India’s national space agency has lost contact with a satellite days after it was launched into orbit with much fanfare, authorities said on Sunday.
