Brent crude dropped 78 cents, or 1.2%, to $62.91 a barrel by 0138 GMT, after losing 1.1% the previous day. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude slid 74 cents, or 1.2%, to $59.90 a barrel, having lost 1.4% on Monday.
It was feared that PIA may face more losses of Rs54billion if the restrictions remain intact, he added.
It posted the highest ever loss of Rs50.15 billion in the last fiscal year
The target of revenue for the current year was set at Rs196 billion.
All PIA operations within and outside the country remain suspended due to the global spread of virus.
