Mansehra, the districted is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan and is named after a Hindu ruler Maan Singh Raja the district is filled with lush green lands and sweet water lakes. The city is located 195 km from capital (Islamabad).
The city is located 1100 meter above the sea level and covers 1,340 km² land area with a total population of more than 1.5 Million people the district is further divided into five tehsils, Oghi, Mansehra, Baffa, Balakot and Darband.
For the provincial assembly the district is divided into five constituencies and two for the national assembly. Due to its geographical location Mansehra is very much famous for tourism hundred thousand tourist visit the city yearly the city is also known as the Switzerland of Pakistan.
