Police said that the suspect Nawaz was not found guilty in the incident.

Following a small piece of evidence, the police identified and arrested a suspect in the rape-cum-murder case of five-year-old girl Marwah in Karachi’s PIB Colony.

Faiz and Abdullah confessed raping Marwah to death, the investigation report said.

During the investigations, the police came to know that the curtain, in which Marwah's body was wrapped, belonged to her neighbour, Nawaz.

The accused identified as Nawaz was arrested after evidence collected by the police matched with his belongings.

The accused lives nearby Marwa's home and a piece of cloth helped the investigating teams in tracing the alleged culprit, said the police.

The investigators told media that geofencing of the detained persons will help the police department to track the suspects' locations.
