Multan Sultans

Multan Sultans is Pakistan professional T20 cricket franchise which is also known as the south Punjab pride. Paksitan Super League (PSL) consist a total of six team. The franchise was founded in 2017 but the owners of the team got failed to pay their annual fee which lead them to lose their contract. A year later the team was owned by Ali khan Tareen and Taimoor Malik and decided not the change the name of the franchise.

The franchise is normally based in Multan city of Punjab province and Multan stadium is the home ground of the team. Shoaib Malik was the first captain of the team. Multan Sultans was the expensive franchise with a total contract worth US$41.6 Million.
