The fresh rules were framed under section 34 of the NAB law and on the directives of the apex court.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Monday said that all mega corruption cases will be brought to their logical end.
Javed Iqbal, while addressing an event in Islamabad here today, hinted for a wind of change to end the perception of running one-sided accountability process by NAB.
This, he said during his visit to the office of NAB Sukkur today where he reviewed the progress of the investigation into important corruption cases.
Javed Iqbal said, "The mafias looted the poor nationals will have to return their money and the owners of housing societies and builders cannot skip the accountability process of NAB."
Corruption is biggest hurdle in country's prosperity and development, he said.
"If the channel responsible for airing the notorious scandal fails to provide proof's to back up their claims then the channel owner will have to suffer legal consequences, warned Awan.
'We will take legal action against NAB chairman'
Justice (retd.) Javed Iqbal said that the institution has not taken any step which causes damages to the national economy.
