The national tally of cases now currently stands at 585,435.

The CM said that currently 12,051 patients have been under treatment in Sindh, of them 11,655 were in home isolation, eight at isolation centres and 388 at different hospitals.

According to the latest statistics of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the COVID-19 has claimed 52 more lives and 1,272 fresh infections were reported.

In the past 24 hours, as many as 1,198 patients have recovered from the virus in a day and 1,908 patients are still in critical condition.

At least eight more patients of the COVID-19 died during the past 24 hours in Sindh, taking the total death toll to 4,400 in the province.

Sindh CM said that 11031 samples were tested in 24 hours in the province, in which 812 cases detected with detection ratio of four percent.

At least 12 more patients of COVID-19 died during the past 24 hours in Sindh, taking the total death toll to 3,969 in the province.

In the new 1005 infections emerged in Sindh, 742 (or more than 72 per cent) belong to Karachi with District East recording most cases.

As many as 17,092 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
