Abducted Balochistan’s former higher education secy returns home

QUETTA: Former secretary Higher Education Commision Balochistan  Abdullah Jan has returned home on Wednesday after four months in abduction, ARY News reported.  Jan went missing on March 15 near his home by unidentified gunmen. JUI-F’s candidate wins NA-260 by-election

QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s (JUI-F) candidate Muhammad Usman Badini has won the by-election in the National Assembly constituency (NA-260) in Chagai-cum-Noshki districts of Balochistan, ARY News reported. According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, Usman Badini received 42,636 votes. Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M)’s Mir Bahadur stood second with 36,622 votes. PkMAP candidate Jamal Khan Tarakai was placed third.
