Nowshera city located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province connected to the river Kabul in the west and is one of the largest cities of the province. The word Nowshera means the new city the city was discovered by the Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar in 1581 AD.
Since established in Mughal period due to its management abilities the city is considered as an important division of Peshawar and also known as the gateway of Peshawar city. The city has the highest population of Sufi Saint and Poets in the Province. Nowshera has the total population of around 1.9 Million peoples. 15% of the population speak Pushto
