Oil tanker overturns

The oil tanker was on the way from Karachi to Peshawar, transporting 40,000 litres of oil cargo, the motorway police said.

Following the incident, a road track was closed due to spill of furnace oil at the site while the tanker was removed from the road to the bridge's side.

Oil was spilling from the tanker, which upturned at the road before claiming the life of a passerby woman. The incident said to be result of reckless driving.
