Opened Kartarpur Corridor viewing longstanding desire of Sikh community: FM

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday said Pakistan decided to open the Kartarpur Corridor in view of longstanding desires of the Sikh community. In a tweet, he said Pakistan has taken this historic initiative in good faith and would carry it forward in the same spirit. Pak-Afghan border to be re-opened temporarily: FO

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria on Monday said that Pak-Afghan border would be opened for two days on Tuesday. He said border along Afghanistan at Torkham and Chaman will be opened on Tuesday and the day after to provide an opportunity to those nationals of Afghanistan who had come to Pakistan on valid visas and wished to return to their country.
