Netherlands temporarily suspends visa issuance service in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Following reports of closure of Netherlands’ Embassy in Pakistan, the spokesperson of the embassy issued a statement saying only visa service was halted for the time being. UNHCR to temporarily halt repatriation of Afghan refugees in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has decided to suspend the repatriation process of Afghan refugees in Pakistan for around three months because of cold weather. According to a spokesperson of the UNHCR, the repatriation process will be halted from December 1 till February 28 next year due to drop in temperature and severe cold. 12 Indian fishermen arrested for violating Pakistan’s territorial waters

KARACHI: Pakistani authorities have arrested 12 Indian fishermen for illegal fishing in territorial waters of the country and seized their two boats. The arrests were made by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency. The PMSA spokesman said the fishermen were arrested for illegal fishing in Pakistan's territorial waters.
