PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Tuesday admitted for hearing appeals challenging the verdict of an anti-terrorism court in Mashal Khan lynching case. ISLAMABAD: The Senate on Friday unanimously passed “The Supreme Court and High Court (Extension Jurisdiction to Federally Administered Tribal Areas) Bill, 2018”. Drone Attacks: PHC summons Foreign Secretary’s reply

PESHAWAR: A bench of Peshawar High Court on Thursday sent notice to the secretary foreign affairs in contempt of court case with regard to drone strikes, ARY News reports.  A division bench of PHC headed by the Chief Justice summoned reply from the secretary foreign affairs within 20 days.  The Foundation of Fundamental Rights had filed a petition in the high court, in which it contended that the drone attacks are violation of the fundamental human rights.
