The Aircraft Accident Investigation Board of Pakistan tasked to probe into the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crash near Havilian in 2016 has released report
Sources told ARY News that the plane took several rounds in the air for half an hour over Lahore city and later safely landed at Karachi airport.
The PIA spokesperson said that one of the engines of the passenger plane was damaged and engineers were working to repair it.
The teams of PIA, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and construction experts have taken part in the operation to pull out remaining parts of the crashed Airbus 320 aircraft from the debris of the building.
The Lahore-bound PIA aircraft number PK-206 from Dubai made an emergency landing at Dubai airport due to technical issue in its landing gear.
The PIA flight from Islamabad to Karachi, PK-301, with many passengers on board escaped an accident after hitting a bird before landing at Karachi airport.
Sources said that the Afghan authorities stopped the PIA plane for more than 2.5 hours to take off without assigning any reason.
The Quetta bound PIA flight PK-310 which flew from Karachi escaped an accident as swarms of locusts struck the aircraft near Balochistan capital.
