PM Imran Khan met physicians of PIMS Hospital's COVID-19 ward and discussed the situation of coronavirus patients admitted to the medical facility.
The decision for the closure of OPD service was made in view of the rising number of coronavirus cases and surgeries will only be conducted in an emergency case.
Sources told ARY News that Dr Sarwat has been shifted to the private ward who was tested positive for COVID-19 today.
Strict security arrangements were made upon his arrival at the hospital, sources said.
