Karachi faces water shortage as 72-inch pipeline bursts

KARACHI: A 72-inch diameter pipeline of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) burst on Friday, suspending water supply to several parts of the metropolis, ARY News reported.  According to official sources, the 72-inch pipeline used to supply water from Gharo pumping station to the city burst owing to pressure caused by power breakdowns. Tapi gas pipeline to be completed by December 2020

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has expressed the confidence that Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project will be completed by December 2020 as per schedule.
