The indictment of former Sindh police chief Ghulam Hyder Jamali and others was deferred once again by the accountability court as the judge was on leave today.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recovered over Rs27 million from the accused persons in Gujrat police funds corruption case.
An accountability reference was filed against former I.G. Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali and co-accused in 2018 over misappropriation in the police department funds.
Sources said the probe was opened after the revelation of spending millions of rupees on the renovation of police head office and alleged corruption into petrol usage.
