Army officers at polling stations will be given magisterial powers: ECP

RAWALPINDI: Each designated officer in-charge of armed forces deployed for security at polling stations shall exercise power of magistrate first class, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced on Tuesday through a notification to this effect. ECP publishes final list of polling stations

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Saturday shared on its website the list of polling stations for the general elections 2018. ECP identifies 1977 sensitive polling stations in Karachi

KARACHI: The Election Commission of Pakistan has identified 4,154 highly sensitive polling stations across Sindh including 1977 in Karachi – the highest in any of the cities. Sindh govt approves installation of CCTV cameras at 4154 sensitive polling stations

KARACHI: Sindh cabinet on Friday decided to install surveillance cameras at highly sensitive polling stations to record polling proceedings of General Elections 2018.
