The opposition has submitted application to the Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser for the issuance of production orders for the jailed top leaders.
The changes in the rules will restrict parliamentarians, involved in corruption cases, from getting production orders.
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has written formal letters seeking implementation on production orders of co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and party stalwart, sister of Asif Zardari, Faryal Talpur.
Production orders of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) members Sindh Assembly, Faryal Talpur and incumbent speaker Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani were issued by the Sindh Assembly secretariat.
With the issuance of the production orders, Zardari will be able to attend the current ongoing session of the National Assembly.
"The sessions of the standing committees can be summoned anytime after getting formal permission," said Qaiser.
Production orders for Shehbaz Sharif were released five times.
An application has been submitted in the Lahore High Court entailing censure of parliamentary production orders being issued to political leaders in the provincial and national assemblies.
