The PDMA Balochistan has advised the local authorities to take precautionary measures to tackle the situation in Kalat, Khuzdar, Naseerabad, Lasbela, Jaffarabad, Sohbatpur and Jhal Magsi districts.

The PDMA has also been peddling an awareness campaign on precautions to keep the deadly virus at bay

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), concerned government departments and agencies have prepared itself for the upcoming harsh weather conditions and finalized arrangements to deal with the situation, officials said.

PDMA in its alert warned that inflow and outflow of water was on rise in Indus at Guddu, Sukkur and Kotri barrages and presently the river has been in medium flood at Guddu and in low flood at Sukkur barrage.

The weather department in a statement predicted rain or dust-thundershowers in upper and central parts of the country during next couple of days.
