RajKumar Hirani

Rajkumar Hirani the most famous Bollywood film director and editor Hirani was born in a Sindhi family on November 20th 1962 in Nagpur city. His father, Suresh Hirani was running a typing institute in the city after the independence his family left Sindh and migrated to India.

Hirani completed his studies from St. Francis Di Sales school in Nagpur and dreamed to become an engineer or a doctor unfortunately he was unable to score good grades and pursue his higher education in commerce.

During his higher education RajKumar Hirani started a theater name “Awaz” where he also used to write the scripts, direct them and perform. After seeing him performing his father advised him to join Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) but he was again unable to get enrolled in the direction course though he went in the editing course. After completing his education Hirani moved to Mumbai and got his first job in editing which he was paid for 1200 INR initially. His dedication and hard work helped him to make his prominent standing in the advertisement world later he left the advertisement world and moved for film making.

Initially Rajkumar Hirani meet Vindu Vinod Chopra and he started work in his film named “Company” he had also worked as a technician in various project where he has been seen as editor in “Mission Kashmir” it was a big break for him. During these days he got able to director the industry most memorable and successful film of all time.

“Munna Bhai MBBS” which not only bring success toward Rajkumar but also took the artist of the movie to the highest level of success. Today Rajkumar Hirani had produced various blockbuster box office movies and still willing to produce many better projects in the upcoming years.
