Ex-SECP chairman moves IHC for quashment of record tampering case
ISLAMABAD: Former Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) chairman Zafar Hijazi on Saturday approached the Islamabad High Court seeking quashment of a case related to tampering with the record of the Sharif family’s Chaudhry Sugar Mills.
Hijazi through his counsel petitioned the high court, arguing that the case was instituted against him on the basis of statements given by four SECP officials who accused him of pressuring them into tampering with the record of the Sharif family's companies.
