Former England keeper Rhodes named Bangladesh head coach

DHAKA: Former England wicketkeeper Steve Rhodes has been named head coach of the Bangladesh team, the country’s cricket board (BCB) said on Thursday. Rhodes, who replaced Sri Lanka’s Chandika Hathurusingha, has been appointed till the end of the 2020 Twenty20 World Cup. The former coach and cricket director of English county Worcestershire was recommended to Bangladesh by former South African batsman and coach Gary Kirsten.
