It seeks to save New York based Roosevelt Hotel which is being evaluated by a British Virgin Islands court to settle the Reko Diq case
The plea against the closure of PIA's iconic hotel was heard by Justice Aamir Farooq.
According to the anti-graft body spokesperson, the graft buster body chief has directed DG NAB Rawalpindi to unearth the causes of shutting down the hotel.
"There is no agenda or program under consideration to selling the iconic Roosevelt Hotel New York," said Sarwar.
The New York Hotel is going to close its doors from October 31 amid economic losses due to COVID-19.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) had approved $142 million funds for paying off debt on Roosevelt Hotel.
The commission will seek applications from local and international investors in accordance with the regulations.
