Russian economy minister sacked, held over ‘$2mn-bribe’ charges

MOSCOW: Russian Economy Minister Alexei Ulyukayev was sacked Tuesday and put under house arrest on suspicion of pocketing a two-million-dollar bribe in a deal involving state-controlled oil giant Rosneft.
