Paragon Housing scam: Saad Rafique, brother’s names placed on ECL

LAHORE: Upon request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the government has placed names of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique on the Exit Control List (ECL). The Directorate General of Immigration and Passport has issued notification regarding inclusion of their names in the blacklist. NAB arrests 5 people in Rs63 billion oil scam

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has taken into custody five suspects allegedly behind a scam involving the financial irregularities of Rs63 billion in the Pakistan State Oil (PSO). According to NAB officials, the suspects were arrested on July 11 during raids conducted in Karachi, Islamabad and Gilgit. KARACHI: Federal anti-corruption court here on Wednesday deferred indictment of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in as many as 26 cases stemming from a multi-billion Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) scam.
