RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Sunday visited his ancestral hometown of Kunjah in district Gujrat where he inaugurated the Major Shabbir Sharif Hospital. The hospital is named after his brother who embraced martyrdom in the war of 1971. He is the only person ever who received both the Nishan-e-Haider and Sitara-e-Jurat for his bravery. LAHORE: A tribute is being paid to Major Shabbir Sharif Nishan-e-Haider on his 33rd day of martyrdom at Miani Saahab Graveyard here on Friday, ARY News reports.
