WASHINGTON: US comics artist Stephen Ditko, co-creator of Marvel superheroes Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, has died. He was 90. Police in New York said he was found in his apartment on June 29, according to the Hollywood Reporter. No cause of death has been confirmed. Born in 1927 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Ditko worked alongside the then-future Marvel Comics CEO Stan Lee in the early 1960s.
