Bank of England chief Carney extends post-Brexit stay

LONDON: Mark Carney will remain Bank of England chief until January 2020 to steer the UK economy through possibly "quite a turbulent period" post-Brexit, finance minister Philip Hammond announced Tuesday. ICJ orders Pakistan temporarily not to execute spy Kulbhushan Jadhav

THE HAGUE: The International Court of Justice has announced its verdict in spy Kulbhushan Jadhav case, pronouncing that Pakistan should not execute Jadhav until final decision of the court. "Pakistan shall take all measures at its disposal to ensure that Mr Jadhav is not executed pending the final decision in these proceedings," said the court's president Ronny Abraham. US judge extends deportation stay in Trump travel ban

WASHINGTON: A US federal judge on Thursday extended until February 21 a stay on visa holders from seven Muslim majority countries and refugees being deported under President Donald Trump's travel ban.
