Exports were recorded at $2.13 billion
October's trade deficit registered a 26 per cent decrease as compared to $2.410 billion in September 2020
The trade deficit also recorded a decline of nine percent in August this year.

The trade deficit also witnessed a 50 percent decline during May 2020 and remained at $1.46 billion.
The volume of the trade deficit remained at United States Dollar (USD) 19.5 billion during the first 10 months of the ongoing year, showed the PBS data.

The current account deficit witnessed a 71 percent decline during the first eight months followed by 33 percent decline in trade deficit during first eight months of the ongoing fiscal year, showed the SBP data.
The month of February 2020 witnessed a 15 percent decline in the trade deficit and stood at US$1.93 billion, said a report issued by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
