Govt inaugurates separate ward for transgenders at PIMS

ISLAMABAD: Human Rights Minister Dr Shireen M Mazari along with Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Aamir Mehmood Kiyani on Saturday inaugurated the separate ward, first of its kind, for transgenders at PIMS hospital in Islamabad. Child forced to become transgender, beaten upon refusal

BAHAWALNAGAR: A child was forced by transgender persons to become their group member and 'alter' his appearance, but the boy was badly beaten when he refused to comply. Apex court to protect rights of transgenders, says chief justice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Saqib Nisar on Thursday said the Supreme Court would fully protect the rights of transgenders, ARY News reported. “Transgenders are victim of social issues and they are not treated graciously,” he said while addressing a seminar about protection of transgenders’ rights.
