Interior ministry terminates Radio Mashaal’s activities for propagating enemy’s agenda

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has terminated activities of Radio Mashaal in light of the recommendations made by Pakistan's intelligence agency on Friday. "The competent authority has directed to close the office of Radio Mashaal immediately and necessary action be initiated against it," reads a notification issued by the ministry. Japan to provide $24M for Burhan-Islamabad transmission line

ISLAMABAD: The government of Japan will grant a loan amounting to 2.665 billion Yen (equivalent to US$ 24 million) for implementation of the Islamabad-Burhan transmission line reinforcement project. Cable operators suspend transmission in several parts of country

ISLAMABAD: Cable operators on Monday announced to indefinitely suspend cable transmission after talks with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar proved abortive, ARY News reported.
