Acceptance of Imran’s papers for NA-131 challenged

LAHORE: A petition challenging a decision of the returning officer to accept nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for NA-131 Lahore was filed on Friday.   The petition was filed before a Lahore High Court appellate tribunal, which states the RO illegally approved the papers of the PTI chief while overlooking certain facts. PCB forms tribunal to investigate spot-fixing

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday formed a three-member tribunal headed by a retired judge to investigate a spot-fixing case allegedly involving two players in a recent Twenty20 league match.
