Pakistan enhances its contribution to UN agency assisting Palestinian refugees

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has enhanced its contribution to the UN agency entrusted to assist Palestinian refugees, reads a press release. Pakistan's Permanent Representative to United Nations Maleeha Lodhi handed over the enhanced contribution to Director UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Peter Mulrean in New York. US halts funding to UN agency helping Palestinian refugees

WASHINGTON: The United States on Friday halted all funding to a U.N. agency that helps Palestinian refugees in a decision further heightening tensions between the Palestinian leadership and the Trump administration.
