Pakistan regains membership of two key UN bodies
DUBAI: Pakistan on Monday won a four year term for the Administrative Council of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) during elections held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to a statement released by the ministry, Pakistan was one of the 13 countries elected to this important body from Asia and Australasia region. Pakistan secured 155 out of a total of 177 votes cast.
