Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Friday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan here in Lahore
Among the overall funds released under the PSDP, Rs310 billion were provided for projects under various federal ministries.
During his visit, PM Imran Khan is likely to make the announcement for the establishment of an education city besides laying a foundation stone of the second phase of Cadet College Wana.
The projects announced by the Punjab chief minister included the construction of road infrastructure and health facilities in Lahore.
The governor was briefed over the progress on green line bus project and provision of fire tenders for Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
Provincial finance ministry has conveyed the decision to the secretary Punjab Assembly.
Out of the total PSDP amount, 59 percent of the funds were estimated to be set aside for infrastructure development projects.
"We have utilized 39 percent of the funds earmarked for the uplift projects during the first eight months of the fiscal year, breaking the six-year record of federal spending," said Asad Umar.
The campaign will be run in collaboration with the Federal Board of Revenue and NADRA.
