All official gatherings and fair of the Urs celebrations have been canceled due to precautions related to Covid-19 under the directives of the Sindh government.
The Sindh government Sindh government has declared 2nd of October (Friday) as public holiday to mark the Urs of saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai (R.A) throughout the province.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who is spiritual seat holder of the shrine, will open the Urs celebrations with shower to the Mazar with rosewater.
The deputy commissioner said it would be ensured that all kind of facilities like, health, supply of power and drainage would be provided to participants.
